A valid credit or debit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. By issuing the card details you are giving The Lonsdale Villa permission to take payment from the card if a reservation is cancelled or if an account is left unpaid. By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit of £25.00 per person is non-
Settlement of the final account is due upon arrival by Debit Card (no charge) or Credit Card (subject to 2% surcharge) cash or cheque by prior arrangement. We only accept the following credit/debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, JCB and Switch/Maestro. If you are wishing to use a credit/debit card to guarantee your reservation the card must not expire before the arrival date. Foreign currency is not accepted or exchanged. Payment in full is required on any unconfirmed reservations.

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your accommodation will be available to you from 2pm on the day of arrival and 3 pm during August unless otherwise arranged.
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us no later than 6pm to let us know if you will be arriving late. Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-

Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages and damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents, and for any missing items. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this. You authorise us to charge you any costs we incur if you cause damage in the Guest House including costs for specialist cleaning, repair and renewal, the cost of the room for any time period it is unusable and any other inconvenience caused. We may refuse to accept bookings from you in future. You will also be charged for lost keys.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data Protection Policy
The Lonsdale Villa is committed to protecting (i) the privacy of its customers; and (ii) the confidentiality of the information provided to it by customers. Your personal details will not be sold on or passed on to third parties.
The Lonsdale Villa has a no smoking policy throughout the Guest House. You must not smoke in our Guest House or interfere with our fire detection system. If you do so, we will terminate your booking without refund and reserve the right to require you to leave the Guest House immediately. You authorise us to charge you any costs we incur if you smoke or cause damage in our Guest House including costs for specialist cleaning (to make the room fit for sale as a non smoking environment) and the cost of the room for any time period it is unusable. You authorise us to charge this amount (starting from £150) to the payment card used in your Booking, or failing that cash on departure. We will send you (at the address on the Booking) a breakdown of these charges within 20 working days. We may refuse to accept bookings from you in future. We also reserve the right to subsequently inform the relevant authorities who may act as they feel fit if it is suspected that a breach of legislation has occurred.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets except for assistance dogs.
Relaxation Of Terms & Conditions
The Lonsdale Villa may relax any of the aforementioned terms and conditions without prejudicing the right to subsequently strictly enforce them.
